KEEP IT SAXY

 Freshly Squozen

Written By Vanessa Collier

A little tiny tiny wrigglin’ in her high chair

Some mashed carrot on the tip of her nose

A beta-carotene firework flung on the wall behind her

And a giggle so good, her one tooth finally showed

A shrug and a smile is all mom can do

Cause moments like these are always too few

She said I’m gonna squeeze ya like a tube of toothpaste

Gonna hug you til the stuffin’ come out

I’m gonna love you every second I can

Until you’re, until you’re freshly squozen

That little girl started growin’ into her pigtails

Left behind the toddler waddle and lean

Now she’s splashin’ her bare feet through muddy puddles

And her once white dress is a permanent shade of green

A shrug and a smile is all mom can do

Cause moments like these are always too few

She said I’m gonna squeeze ya like a tube of toothpaste

Gonna hug you til the stuffin’ come out

I’m gonna love you every second I can

‘Til you’re, until you’re freshly squozen

Until you’re freshly squozen, hey-ey

Packed her favorite jeans and her Justin boots

They’re almost worn through the toe

Baby girl’s every bit her momma’s daughter

Off to jump in some bigger puddles, but she sure hates to go

A shrug and a smile is all she can do

Cause moments like these are always too few

She said I’m gonna squeeze ya like a tube of toothpaste

Gonna hug you til the stuffin’ come out

I’m gonna love you every second I can

Uh hey, one mo’ time

I’m gonna squeeze ya like a tube of toothpaste

Gonna hug you til the stuffin’ come out

I’m gonna love you every second I can

’Til you’re, hey, until you’re freshly squozen

Freshly squozen

Come on momma bear

Momma bear, momma bear, momma bear, gonna hug you tight
